Hey. So I haven’t updated this thing in a while. I have been busy cooking food at the Owlery Vegetarian Restaurant in Bloomington and playing in a new band called High Dive. We (High Dive) just finished making a record, which should come out in December, and we are planning to do some touring around then, too. In the meantime, I’ll be playing at the Fest 10 in Gainesville, FL over Halloween weekend. Hope to see some of ya’ll there. More solo songs and shows soon!

Theo, Ryan, and I are headed to the northwestern part of the United States next weekend for a quick tour of Seattle, Olympia, Bellingham, and Portland. Also joining us will be Mugwort, Madeline, and Your Heart Breaks! I have never been to this part of the country, and am therefore very excited about this endeavor. I’m happy to let you all know that the songs that Theo, Ryan and I recorded last winter are going to be out on LP soon. One half is those songs, and the other half is songs that Theo recorded with Clyde Petersen (Your Heart Breaks). It’s available for pre-order now from Talking Helps Records!
Also! I run a small record label called Word Wild Records, and I recently sent off the Snarlas/Pink Houses record to be pressed. It should be out in July. They are two of my favorite bands and I think the record is very, very good. Check it out?

Thanks to the folks who came and hung out with Eric, Jake, and me over the last few days. We had a really good time. I feel very lucky to be able to travel and meet such great people.
I am playing in a new pop-punk band called High Dive, which features Ryan Woods on bass and Nick Romy on drums. We are playing two shows in Bloomington coming up – February 22nd at the Way Out, with Bad Banana and Beaker, and March 14th at Fort Vegan, with Hot New Mexicans and Landlord.
